Personally, I have been involved in real estate since moving to Marshall in 1968. My real estate activities were limited to buying & selling commercial properties for fast food establishments in which I was a part-owner and other businesses that I owned. I have also been involved in rural subdivision of residential property.

In addition, I was a full time accounting professor at Southwest Minnesota State University for 38 years and have professional certifications as a CPA (inactive), CMA and CGFM.

My wife, Sue, has been associated with Wilson O'Brien since 1992 as a sales agent/associate broker. After retirement at the University, I finally decided that I enjoyed the real estate profession and became licensed.

I am a firm believer in being involved in the community. I spent 28 years on the Marshall Volunteer Fire Department and am currently in my 16th year as a member of the Marshall City Council.
