Hi, my name is Kevin Swanson. I joined Wilson O'Brien Realtors in the summer of 2007. My wife, Deb, and I live between Ivanhoe and Marshall and have two kids - Andrew (14) and Emily (11). Some of you may recognize me, as I have lived in this area all my life and have been an auctioneer since 1999.
My background is in agriculture, and I have been farming "my whole life." After graduating from Ivanhoe High School, I studied Ag Production & Ag Business Management in Willmar. In 1999 I attended Continental School of Auctioneering in Mankato and earned my certificate as a licensed auctioneer and certified personal property appraiser. In 2007, I became a Realtor and feel that by doing so, I am able to offer my clients a choice when they are deciding on the most effective method of selling their real estate - by listing or by auction. I am a licensed Realtor in both Minnesota and South Dakota.
In addition to my real estate, auctioneering, and farming business, I find time to serve on the Limestone Township Board and the Ivanhoe Economic Development Authority. I am also a member of MSAA, NAA, MAR, WCAR & NAR. My family and I are members of the Bethany-Elim Lutheran Church in Ivanhoe.
